Mallory and Dylan jumped into my car when I first met them. We were heading to shoot their engagement photos around Seymour. Both of them are avid outdoors people, and their energy is always so up beat. We hiked across mountain biking trails and through snow for the perfect light overlooking Vancouver, where Mallory had finally moved to just weeks beforehand.
So when I pulled into the sprawling farm next to a mountain in Kelowna, BC, with an open air barn covering their reception and chairs under a willow tree, I knew Falcon Ridge Farms was the perfect venue for Mallory and Dylan. Kelowna lies halfway in between their hometowns, Calgary and Vancouver, and friends and family converged on the Okanagan Valley to celebrate and unite with these two people.
Naturally, I dragged them hiking again, although it was just a short walk up a dirt path this time. I think it was worth it.
